Season 2006

I think I can say this Season is a transition period from the end of EM period to the start of post-EM period.
Back in 2005, Season IV is a short, but active like III. IV was almost faded away after ML launch events. In the next year 2006, a few events on each shard, a shard or two had no event. It's called Season V.
Now I feel it might be shutting down period of EM program.
In the latter half of the same year 2006, we had events like Ricardo, Ophidian, Halloween as well.
Behind that, there are two big incidents; New UO Designer Draconi joined the Dev team and EA bought Mythic(EA_Mythic).
So, it's not just an end of EM program, it's also a beggining of new event system.
The both factors were crossing each other.
Anyway, they aimed at more-interest-for-more-players event under new system.
From the word of Jeremy in 17th May, it should be a large-scaled, developer-created Live Envets
.
So, in a sence, we actually call it a post-EM event or Live Event when it's large-scaled developer-created, even if EM helped it to run.
No, I don't mean i negate EMs devotional works in initiated Live Events. I do mean they are different in their system.
Live Events are no more shard individual, man-manipulated, and supervised by GM Zilo.
So, if EM is there or not, it should be considered as Live Event.

Now, I show you practical instances, as many of you NA shard players can think some multi shards events in 2006 are already done without EM, and do not take they are transitional.
However, at least in Japanese shards, we didn't get Ricardo's stolen goods, in spite of the Ricard event is a part of developer-created Inu event.
And I believe there was not Ricardo convoy event from Trin to Yew. In the event for example, convoy chariot was surprised by Minotaurs on Lake Austin. They got some event rare.
So it's not a perfect Live Event for all UO player yet, but a half. Maybe in testing phase.
Shortly his arrival in Yew, he got in trial in Court of Truth. You could remember it.
The trial was automatically done with programmed NPCs. Now i can understand its imperceivable but outstanding meaning; the end of small-scale manual EM program and the start of large-scale automatic Live Event.
Or I just could be too sensitive.

What is a better name for this Season? Post-EM Events? Live Events? Or simply Season VI?
I'd like to call it Season 2006. Because it's not similar to Season I-V, but still there is a similarity or continuity or like that.
